Whitehaven Beach
Whitsundays
The other white paradise ... Without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Located in the eastern part of the island of Whitsunday Island, Whitehaven Beach is accessible only by boat which was preserved until now the human footprint. The water is almost transparent and very calm: perfect for swim ... except from December to March, during the season of "stingers" small jellyfish whose stings can be deadly! It seems that the sand is so white and clean that was used to make the lens of the Hubble telescope. Undoubtedly one of the key places on Earth. Please note, pets are prohibited, as is ... smoking!
