St Peter square
The traditional entry into the Vatican is especially the place where Christians gather to listen to the speech of the Pope. It can recognize its shape and the Egyptian obelisk in the center. Seen from the sky, you would think a form of ancient lock. The central part has impressive dimensions: 240m wide and 320m long. When your not penetrate into the central ellipse you will leave Rome to enter the smaller religious state in the world: Vatican. In front of you stands St Peter's Basilica, one of the largest Christian monuments. Around you, 284 Doric columns delimit instead. They are topped with 140 statues of Saints.
