The Plains of Abraham is a historic park in Quebec City. With its 98 hectares composed of valleys and small woods, it is one of the largest urban parks in the world. It is the site of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, which led to the capitulation of Quebec in favor of the British. The Plains of Abraham provide an idyllic setting. It is not uncommon to come across squirrels, beavers and other wildlife.
