The amazing Grotte de la Salamandre is one of the most beautiful cavity of Europe.

Open for the first time in 2013, it offers three possibilities about visits:
- The belvedere and its incredible panoramic viewpoint, wheelchair accessible (unique in Europe);
- The guided visit, a fascinating itinerary of 1 hour at the earth of this giant area decorated by splendid concretions revealed by light and music;
- And for lovers of adrenalin, the "Grand Rappel": 50 meters of descent to discover the gigantic room from its roof, with friends or family. Emotion guaranteed… and shared!

Outdoors, the natural site is also beautiful. To preserved it, cars are parked at 7000 meters (except cars of disabled people). You rejoign the welcoming by a little and shady path, a building in local wood, nestled on the side of a cliff and created by the architect Jean-François Daures. The cliff supports photovoltaic panels illuminating the cave, which is the first in Europe. It houses also a shop of original products like local minerals, and a refreshement area with good products to tase, on the terrace overhanging the preserved landscape of garrigue.
