The Plaza de Armas of Cusco is the scene of a religious building of beauty contest with this beautiful church that played opposite the magisterial cathedral. It is the work of the Jesuits who wanted to mark their arrival in the Inca capital before making oust him. The church was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1650 demolished the first version of 1576. This church is considered one of the finest achievements of colonial religious architecture in the Americas.
