this building is one of the most beautiful typical military architecture of the Middle Age. See the keep, moat, corner towers, bartizans and machicolation. Some Renaissance touches can be seen (wrought iron gate, the open main courtyard).
Read moreIt used to be named “Asnières les Bois” and was built during the end of the 1370’. The castle is the property of the Count of Loriol from its origin. The old name of Asnières les Bois disappeared in 1743.
