Dating from the thirteenth century, the Saint-Michel Cathedral of Carcassonne is an old parish church located in a suburb of the city of Carcassonne. Its architecture is quite simple. La Bastide Saint-Louis is a building of southernmost Gothic style. Its bell tower contains eight stolen bells.
